80 friends of the inner north gathered at CERES in East Brunswick to celebrate with the ten selected recipients of the 2024 Pathways to Employment Grants Program.
In partnership with IntoWork and the Cities of Darebin, Yarra and Merri-bek, the Pathways to Employment Fund supports organisations with deep links to the inner north which are supporting community members on their journey to work.
This year’s $200,000 funding has been allocated to 10 organisations. – four of which will receive single year funding of $20,000 and two will receive $20,000 for each of the next three years. The remaining four organisations are in their second or third year of previously announced multi-year funding.
The ten organisations are:
- Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre
- Cultivating Community
- Preston Neighbourhood House, trading as Bridge Darebin
- CERES
- Juno
- Victorian association for the care and resettlement of offenders (Vacro)
- Free to Feed
- Inner North Local Learning and Employment Network (INLLEN)
- Outer Urban Projects
- The Social Studio
